Welcome to my blog.

Where I consider life, marketing, entertainment, gaming and the general business of being a funtioning adult in the world of sales, marketing and advertising.

I don’t promise to have all the answers, but I’ve made a lot of mistakes, so at least I can point out some pitfalls. One of my favourite quotes is from Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2, “That could have gone smoother.” This is the human experience in which we get to make mistakes, improvise, improve and, hopefully, evolve.

I have also managed to do a few things that have worked, and I hope that I can inspire you with new ideas or old ideas with new life.

As Asimov said: “Rarely are great discoveries found with the words – EURIKA, I’ve got it! – more often then not they are found with – Hmmm that’s funny.”

Most importantly, though, I hope I inspire you to take action. Theory is fine, but an over emphasis on theory may be at the route of a lot of our current challenges. Theories need to be tested, so….

I will always do my best to research my thoughts, where applicable, but please note there will always be a slant that is based on my philosophy, which is “Test It.” If you don’t agree with me that’s great, let that stimulate action. Go test it and if you find something better, let me know.

I believe the greatest gift we have is our diversity, as it allows us all to grow and consider many viewing points, nothing is absolute, that sort of polarisation is a major challenge we really need to overcome if we are to progress further as a species.

So enjoy the ride, toss the dross, keep the keys and I hope I can add some light to your world, and you are always welcome to add some to mine.
