MMA or Martial Art?

MMA or Martial Art, What’s the Conflict?

MMA is about winning, it’s purely competitive.

Martial Art is a lifetime practice.

One thrives on seeking conflict for domination, for victory.

The other seeks to diffuse conflict as quickly as possible, to create a new state of being. It also uses inner conflict to improve physical suppleness, balance and coordination. And, it improves mental and emotional intelligence.

How are you approaching your clients?

How are you approaching your marketing or ad agency?

Is it us versus them?

Let’s get one over on them.

Let’s disrupt and dominate in the room, shout the loudest and win the day for today, and tomorrow be damned.

Or,

Are you seeking to build something together? Where the conflict that arises is based on tension created because of synergy, a mutual desire to succeed and build lasting success, to be better together.

The average MMA Fighter, generally, doesn’t last past their mid-thirties, and that’s if they’re lucky. And, the physical toll can be debilitating later in life.

The Martial Artist may fight many fights, but their mode of practice, their martial art, is for a lifetime, and very often extends their life span. Not by avoiding conflict, but by transforming it into positive and lasting changes.

What kind of conflict are you creating with your partners, and will it last, and do you care?
