Should I Invest in Water or Palladium?
Okay, silly question, but it raises the issue of value.
If you have just crawled through the desert without water for the past 24hrs, what will you value the most?
That is a rhetorical question, the obvious answer is water.
But what if you were the chief science officer at an automobile maker, and you are concerned with making your cars more environmentally friendly, and you’ve got a full water cooler in your office?
Then, I would bet, you are more interested in palladium for your catalytic converters. Catalytic converters help convert the toxic gases in cars into less harmful substances, and palladium is an important component.
So, what should you invest in?
It really depends on what you need.
This is something really worth considering the next time you make a sales call or offer strategic advice to a client. Don’t tell them what you think they should value, take a moment to really listen to what they actually need and then see how you can give it to them.
And remember, you can’t drink palladium.
